The types of bitumen emulsions are divided according to the emulsifier used:
• Quick-disintegrating (CBE 1, CBPE 1). Used for surface treatment and have short decay times — up to 30 minutes.
• Mid-disintegrating (CBE 2, CBE 2). Widely used in the process of pits repair. The decay time of such substances is 30-60 minutes.
• Slowly-disintegrating (CBE 3, CBE 3). The decay occurs mainly due to evaporation of the liquid. Used in the manufacture of cast asphalt concretes and other dense mixtures.
